Cibo is where I want to go when I want to feel fancy and eat downtown. The drinks are reasonable and the food is great. It can get loud if you stay late but I am usually in bed by the time the party gets started.

I really enjoyed the sausage dish for breakfast. It's savory, & just like all other cured meats, nice and salty. Really great to start the day with!

I was up north for work and we had been eating really heavy foods and a cold breakfast so yesterday my co worker and I stopped into Cibo and let me tell you I left very happy. It is not the largest breakfast menu but when the food is as good as what we had you don't need to have a big menu. First the ambiance was really nice. It felt like breakfast diner but still upscale. I got the 2 eggs and bacon with potatoes and asked for an extra egg. And it was the best thing I ate during my trip. The eggs were perfect the bacon crispy and the potatoes were not over seasoned they were perfect. I will eat here again! The owner I believe was our server and he was super nice. I need to come back and try dinner at this place

This restaurant was recommended to me by the front desk at creek side Inn. I walked over, but almost didn't go inside because it looked closed. Once I was inside, I thought about leaving as it had a very 1980s diner feel to it, but I decided to stick it out. My server, Leo, was very polite and attentive. I ordered the Cibo Burger and was surprised when it came out - it was delicious and fresh. Don't let appearances fool you - this is a great place for a quick bite.

Oh my lord jesus christ this place is amazing I had a plate of the salmon everything was cooked perfect even the vegetables and I don't even eat broccoli. I also had a plate of the chicken which was absolutely exquisite and a burger to go which was pretty big I actually split it into 2 meals.

They have all kinds of food but their meat loaf was one on the most delightful meals I have had in a while. Total comfort.

Here is a picture of the Huevos Rancheros from the breakfast menu. My wife and I shared this plate and we were highly impressed. When ordering a Mexican dish, I always compare to authentic Mexican,!. The bedding of country potatoes was mixed with chorizo (the chorizo tasted like my moms cooking!) That was the highlight of the dish for me. If ever in Palo Alto, definitely try this gem. Also the coffee is delicious. we are coffee fanatics, and we could tell this was high quality coffee.

Cibo restaurant and bar offers an excellent dining experience! The ambiance is well established with lovely pendant soft lighting, and well appointed booth, and artwork that provide privacy and comfort. The menu offers tasty and fresh options ranging from beef, pork, chicken, lamb or seafood entrees to sandwiches and burgers. We especially enjoyed the fresh scallops in a wine garlic butter sauce, the New York cheesecake and a gluten free dark Belgian cake to die for! The owner was very attentive to all guests this evening and we never needed to ask for a thing because he checked on us so often. If you are in the area, be sure to visit Cibo Restaurant and Bar!

Came for lunch with a group of coworkers. We sat in the back, about 14 of us. Most of us decided on salads or burgers. I had the Cibo burger, cheese, avocado, bacon, and veggies with french fries. Service was very attentive, but the only problem was they were trying to get all of our orders in one shot, so it took quite awhile. There were a few people that had to rush eating as they had meetings to attend to. Three of us ended with dessert, and this was my first time trying panna cotta, and I was in love! It was so tasty! Will definitely be back when I can take a long lunch!
